Zaher Ibrahim is the Senior Executive Vice President, Sales & Commercial, for Baker Hughes, a GE Company in MENAT & India.
The MENAT & India sales and commercial organization is responsible for delivering topline growth through commercial intensity & key account management through alternate channels to market, strategic growth programs & execution. Focusing on driving commercial discipline & excellence across the organization.
Prior to that role, Zaher was the CEO for the O&G business in Saudi Arabia based in Al-khobar, responsible for driving growth, operation excellence and partnership with Saudi customers across the portfolio, setting strategic direction to drive top and Bottom line growth, strengthening our commercial focus and building local capabilities.
Earlier to that, Zaher was the Power Generation Services Sales GM responsible for the services sales business in the Middle East, driving growth across the portfolio, building commercial intensity around customer value, focusing on installed base penetration, and introducing solutions partnering with key customers in the region.
Zaher joined GE in 2000 by attending Energy Services Field Engineering Program (FEP) in Schenectady, Ny and followed it with couple of field assignment in the United States then moved to the Middle East region to take on operations roles including Project Manager looking after the maintenance projects in Iraq, Site lead in Saudi Arabia completing the installation of the first F technology power plant in Shedgum.
In 2006, he took on the role of Saudi Arabia Service Manager, responsible for field services including joint venture operations.
In 2010, Zaher has served as the Energy Services GM based in Dammam responsible for driving significant expansion and developing growth of the Saudi region across the Energy Services portfolio
Zaher was born in 1975 in Beirut. He attended the American University of Beirut and earned his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1997.
