Osama Abounasr is a technology specialist and service provider with a primary focus in the downstream oil & gas. His work is centered around the digitialization and integration of rotating machinery Predictive Maintenance programs. He executed projects involving the transformation of manual and paper-based systems into fully integrated digital and analytical platforms. Osama is currently working with leading Maintenance and Service companies to develop and deploy digital solutions for producers and refiners in the Gulf of Mexico region.
Prior to that, Osama spent over 20 years in multiple industries where he held numerous positions in engineering and management. His roles ranged from test engineering in automotive to design engineering and project management for NASA Johnson Space Center where he trained astronauts, designed and managed production of equipment for the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station programs, to overseeing multi-million-dollar subsea engineering and production programs for the offshore upstream oil & gas.
Osama holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration. He is also certified in Machinery Lubrication, ISO Cat II Vibration Analyst, and holds a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Remote Pilot License.
