Marc Njeim is an oil and gas consultant in Lebanon providing advisory services to law firms and energy companies. His global experience and legal academic background makes him an oil and gas specialist in the areas of upstream operations, reservoir exploration and transboundary development agreements.
Mr. Njeim spent over ten years working on drilling platforms and installations in the United States, West Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Gulf Countries. He is an expert in horizontal drilling and geosteering and has successfully delivered over 100 hundred wells, some of which ran parallel to maritime and lease borders for top-tier petroleum companies in the world.
Mr. Njeim then supplemented his oil and gas career with a LLM degree specializing in petroleum contracts, the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) and cross-border unitization agreements. Mr. Njeim pinpoints to his clients contractual peculiarities, allowing them to minimize potential losses while capitalizing on potential benefits for sustainable project development.
Besides his consultancy services, Mr. Njeim lectures Petroleum Law and Economics at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK). Mr. Njeim holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Washington State University and a Master of Laws in Energy and Natural Resources from Queen Mary University of London.
