
Iyad Boustany, now 45 years old, attended school at the Notre Dame de Jamhour in Lebanon and later Lycee Sainte Croix de Neully in Paris. In 1993 he received a dual degree in Maths and Economics from Paris X University, followed by an MBA in 1996 from ESCP Paris, France (Ecole Superieure de Commerce de Paris).
Iyad started his career with Reuters subsidiary in charge of developing mathematical models for scoring inter-company credit.
From rating receivables, he then moved to developing securitization in Lebanon. In 2009, he left Lebanon with a Private Equity as CIO and subsequently moved between Geneva, Bahrain, Jeddah and Iraq.
Boustany authored more than 50 articles published in reputable finance magazines (Euromoney, Structured Finance Magazine, etc…). He is also the author of the reference book in French on securitization and structured finance.
Iyad Boustany is currently the Managing Director (Investment Banking) at FFA Private Bank.
