Mr. Mouchbahani, Founding and Managing Partner of M Capital Group, (“MCG”), has held major senior international and regional, management and board positions. He has also been involved in several larger cross border principal and advisory transactions, in addition to asset management/private equity funds. Among other assignments, he is also currently active and involved with several advisory boards.
Mr. Mouchbahani can draw on many years of merchant banking, private equity, investment banking and asset management experience, having held several senior regional and international positions in the US, Europe and Middle East. He has extensive senior relationships and network across US, Europe and MENA with private equity houses, sovereign wealth funds, corporates, government institutions, high net-worth individuals, investors and Islamic institutions at senior level.
Mr. Mouchbahani, has held senior postions and board positions in the US, Europe and Middle East such as Chief Executive Officer of Jefferies Middle East and North Africa, Management Board Member of Dubai Bank, Morgan Stanley, Paribas, BNP Paribas and The National Investor. While he has been also based in New York, London, Dubai and Paris, he has been responsible and covered various countries and continents.
He had also been nominated to head at Governmental level the position of Secretary General of the Privatization Commission of Lebanon in 2006. Mr. Mouchbahani has been a speaker and writer, while he featured in the past at Capital Market Conferences, Finance Forum’s, Fund and Private Equity Conferences and various other press mediums such as CNBC, the Financial Times, CNN, Forbes and The Banker.
He is a member of the President’s Global Council of New York University, and a member of City - University London, Middle East Advisory Board and sits on the Board of the London Institute of Banking and Finance.
He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from New York University, and is fluent in English, French, German and Arabic.
